Wellington has all the vibes in the world. Every time we go, we feel like we never want to leave. The first week of March, we make an 8-hour trip from Mount Maunganui to do the Martinborough and Newtown markets. And what can I say? Newtown is an incredible event. Bands playing everywhere, packed with people even when it's raining, you can feel the art in the air, the whole city comes together in one place enjoying music and art. That's why we love going to this market. And this map wants to reflect that vibe.
Sure, Wellington is bigger, but I liked this perspective, where you can see the CBD with all its details, the Beehive, the stadium, the waterfront, Cuba Street — everything we walk around every time we go. Another map that took me around 200 hours. It's one of the most detailed ones, along with Christchurch and Dunedin.
